The Music Place is designed for kids ages 8–12 who want to make music, try something new, build confidence, and have fun with other kids.
-
Each session is an 8-week commitment. Sessions are purchased as a full 8-week session rather than month-to-month.
-
Each Group Drum class is 45 minutes long.
-
8-Week Sessions are $379 paid in full, or 2 payments of $199.
There are no extra fees. Everything your child needs for the session is included.
-
I want your child to love The Music Place! If your child isn't loving it by the end of their second class, just let me know and I'll give you a full refund for the session.
No hard feelings and no awkward conversation. I want you to feel confident giving The Music Place a try, and I want your child to be excited to come back each week.

Nope! Our classes are designed so kids can jump in whether they're picking up drumsticks for the very first time or already have some experience behind the kit.
Beginners will learn the fundamentals and build confidence, while kids who already know how to play can keep growing, challenge themselves, and have fun playing with the group.
Everyone participates at their own level, and there's always room to learn something new.
-
Every child has their own drum kit and plays for the entire class; we all play together!
We’ll start with fun warmups, rhythm games, and new drumming skills. Then, your child will put those skills to work right away as we learn and play real songs together.
They’ll be building coordination, rhythm, confidence, and musical skills while actually making music from day one.
-
Nope. There are no required practice assignments. I want kids to associate music with playing, creating, and having fun—not another thing they have to do for homework.
-
No. The Music Place isn't a level-based program. Kids can participate at their own ability, challenge themselves when they're ready, and continue growing without feeling behind.
-
Absolutely! Each session features a new set of songs and experiences, so kids can return for multiple sessions and continue building their skills while having something new to look forward to.
-
That's exactly who The Music Place is designed for! We start with the basics and build from there. No previous drumming experience is necessary.
-
They're welcome! Because The Music Place doesn't use a traditional level system, kids can participate at their own ability and continue challenging themselves as they grow.
-
Nothing is required! If your child would like water during class, they're welcome to bring a water bottle with a lid. Everything else they need, including their drum kit and equipment, is provided.
Please leave snacks and distractions outside :)
-
Absolutely! The door is always open, and parents are welcome to pop in or stay if needed. However, The Music Place is designed as a drop-off experience, and I encourage parents to let their kids enjoy the class independently.
This gives kids the space to participate, build confidence, connect with the group, and grow more independent, without the distractions of parents in the room.
-
We celebrate! The final class (8th week) gives kids a chance to share what they've been working on with their families. Families are invited to join us for the second half of the class for a special mini concert!
-
Because our classes are group experiences that build from week to week, makeup classes aren't available for missed classes. If your child misses a class, they'll be able to jump right back in and continue having fun when they return.
