Tuition & Payment

Your tuition reserves your child’s spot in the program.

For the Fall 2026 Drum Group, you can choose to pay $379 in full or 2 payments of $199.

If you choose the payment plan, you are committing to the full program tuition. Missing a class does not cancel or reduce the remaining payment.

Happiness Guarantee

I want your child to actually enjoy being here, so you get two classes to make sure the program feels like a good fit.

If your child isn’t loving the experience by the end of Class #2, just contact me within 24 hours after that class.

If the guarantee applies, you’ll receive a full refund and any remaining payment-plan payment will be canceled.

After Class #2, the regular cancellation and refund policy applies.

Attendance & Cancellations

Please let me know if your child will be absent.

Because your child’s spot is reserved for the full session, missed classes are not prorated or refunded, and individual make-up classes are not guaranteed.

If The Music Place needs to cancel a class, I’ll provide a make-up or rescheduled class.

If you need to withdraw before the program begins, please reach out as soon as possible. After the Happiness Guarantee period, tuition is generally non-refundable, and payment-plan payments remain due.

Arrival & Pickup

Please plan to arrive 5–10 minutes before class so your child has time to get settled. Please do not arrive earlier unless we’ve made arrangements ahead of time.

For drop-off programs, please remain reachable by phone during class and pick up your child promptly when class ends.

If someone else will be picking up your child, just let me know ahead of time.

Studio Expectations

I want The Music Place to be a place where kids can be themselves, try new things, make mistakes, and have fun.

At the same time, everyone needs to feel safe and respected. Kids should follow safety directions, treat people and equipment with care, and give everyone a chance to participate.

If an ongoing behavior or safety issue comes up, I’ll reach out to you so we can work through it together.

Health & Safety

Please keep your child home if they are too sick to comfortably participate or may pose a significant illness risk to others.

Please let me know about anything important that could affect your child’s safety or ability to participate, including allergies, health concerns, or accommodations.

Music — especially drums — can get loud. Hearing protection is welcome and may be recommended when appropriate.

The Music Place provides a supervised music program during scheduled class times. Parents/guardians are responsible for their child outside of the scheduled class time, including before drop-off and after pickup.

While I take reasonable precautions to provide a safe environment, participation in music activities involves ordinary risks, including accidental injury. Parents/guardians acknowledge these risks when registering.

If your child becomes sick or injured during class, I’ll contact you or your emergency contact. In an emergency, I may contact emergency services.

Photos & Video

I love capturing the fun things that happen at The Music Place, and students may occasionally appear in photos or videos from classes and events!

Photo and video permission is handled during registration. You can choose whether or not you’re comfortable with your child’s image being used for The Music Place’s website, social media, marketing, or promotional materials.

Choosing not to give permission will not affect your child’s ability to participate!
