This is where music comes alive.
The New highlight of their week.
Imagine your child walking through the door, grabbing a pair of drumsticks, sitting down at a real drum kit...
And then actually playing.
Not waiting for their turn.
Not sitting quietly while someone explains music.
Not being told they need to practice before they can have fun.
They’re making music from the very beginning.
That’s The Music Place.
A 45-minute experience built around one simple belief:
Kids learn music best when they’re busy making it.
EVERY CLASS IS DESIGNED FOR PARTICIPATION
Every class is designed to keep kids actively involved in making music.
They'll build rhythm, listening skills, coordination, creativity, and confidence through a hands-on experience that keeps them moving, listening, creating, and playing together.
And somewhere along the way, something important happens:
They start to see themselves as musicians.
Not someday.
Now.
WHAT DOES A GROUP DRUM CLASS LOOK LIKE?
ARRIVE & PLAY
Kids come in, get behind their own drum kit and we jump straight into group warm ups.
LEARN BY DOING
New rhythms and drumming skills are introduced through an active, hands-on approach. Kids learn together and spend much more time playing than listening to instructions.
PLAY TOGETHER
Kids learn to listen, follow along, respond to the group, and make music together. They're not waiting for individual turns, they're playing together!
LEARN REAL SONGS
Each session revolves around songs kids can actually play. As they build their skills, they'll hear and feel their progress come together. We will play a variety of songs that you and your child actually know and love, from classic favorites to Christian hits.
BUILD CONFIDENCE
Mistakes are part of making music. We focus on participation, progress, and having fun, not getting everything perfect.
LEAVE READY FOR MORE
Every class ends with the group wrapping up together, celebrating what they accomplished, and looking forward to next week!
NO LEVELS. NO COMPARISON. JUST PROGRESS.
Kids don't have to be at the same place to be part of the same experience.
They can participate at their own level, challenge themselves when they're ready, and keep discovering what's possible.
No pressure to be the best.
No comparing.
No feeling behind.
Just encouragement to take the next step.
oh, aND WE DON'T CHASE PERFECTION!
We chase progress.
Missed the beat?
Find it again.
Tried something new?
Try again.
Because real musicians don't play perfectly all the time.
They listen.
They adjust.
They keep going.
