This is the easiest place to start. No experience, no expectations — just a real drum kit and permission to explore it for the first time.
Tried lessons before, and it didn't click
Some kids don't take to note-by-note instruction first — they need to play before they learn the "why." TMP starts at the drums, not the sheet music.
Already takes lessons
TMP isn't a replacement for lessons — it's the part lessons usually don't include: playing real songs, in a group, with other kids, out loud.

Check in and get seated at a real kit
Every child gets their own drum kit for the night — not a shared demo, not a toy. We'll get your child settled and comfortable in the first few minutes.
Play something on beat one
Kids aren't warmed up with theory first. They're playing an actual rhythm, on the drums, within the first five minutes.
Learn a real song, together
The group builds toward playing a song kids already know — pop, or Christian hits — as one unit, not solo drills.
Meet other kids who like making noise too
This is group-based by design. Part of what kids respond to is playing alongside other kids, not sitting one-on-one with an instructor.
